Vaughan finishes third in women's discus at IAAF World Junior event in Spain

Shelbi Vaughan, a Mansfield Legacy graduate who will be a freshman at Texas A&M this fall, finished third in the women’s discus Sunday at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain. Vaughan earned the bronze medal with a throw of 197 feet, 1 inch (60.07 meters).
