Someone pretending to be TCU cornerback Kevin White used a bogus Twitter handle to tweet disparaging comments about Iowa State, including “Should be an easy win.”
But Kevin White, who uses @2KWhite5 on Twitter, tweeted no such thing.
TCU coach Gary Patterson monitors his players social media and would not hesitate to suspend someone for such an indiscretion.
“Iowa State doesn’t need any more inspiration to win,” Patterson said. “Our kids don’t do that. It’s probably some Iowa State fan trying to get them fired up.”

Not sure if I'm buyin it quite yet, I'm a student at TCU and obviously huge Frogs fan but something still just doesn't sit right with me. I'm only taking the 2 classes I need to graduate this semester, so I admittedly have a lot of extra time on my hands so when I saw the tweet I did some digging before I passed judgement on it. I scrolled down thru the timeline and the account the tweet came from has been posting for some time, and while I don't know the kid personally, the content seemed like something that your typical personal account would consist of. Including 2 questionable tweets leading up to the Kansas & Virginia games, along the same lines of saying another easy win and what have you. Most likely scenario to me is he had an "official" account that GP monitors & then a personal one on the side for buddies, but the internet in all its greatness will sniff out just about anything if you give it time. Like I said big Frog fan and dont wanna see anything bad happen to any of the guys but I cant resist a little controversy.
