Texas and Ohio State have scheduled a home-and-home football series for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, school officials announced Wednesday. Ohio State will play in Austin on Sept. 17. 2022. Texas will play in Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 16, 2023.
The teams last met in the 2009 Fiesta Bowl, with Texas winning, 24-21. Texas leads the all-time series, 2-1, with a 25-22 victory in Columbus in 2005. Ohio State won in Austin, 24-7, in 2006.
