West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith, who threw for 656 yards and eight touchdowns -- with no interceptions -- in last week’s 70-63 victory over Baylor, has been selected as the Davey O’Brien Quarterback of the Week for the second time this season. Smith has led the eighth-ranked Mountaineers to a 4-0 record by completing 83.4 percent of his passes this season, with 20 touchdowns and no interceptions.
