Baylor senior receiver Terrance Williams and junior offensive lineman Cyril Richardson were both named to Phil Steele’s 2012 Midseason All-American Team.
Only two other Big 12 players, West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith and receiver Stedman Bailey, accompanied Williams on Steele’s All-American 1st team offense.
So far this season, Williams has 139 receptions for 2,169 yards. He averages 51.6 yards per game and has scored 21 touchdowns for the Bears.
Richardson, who was selected for 3rd team offense, shares his selection with three other Big 12 players – Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein, Oklahoma receiver Kenny Stills, and West Virginia center Joe Madsen.
