Baylor receiver Terrance Williams, who leads the nation in receiving yards (159 per game), is one of 10 semifinalists for the 2012 Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation’s top receiver. Williams is joined on the list of semifinalists, announced Monday, by West Virginia teammates Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey, as well as Oregon State’s Brandin Crooks, New Mexico State’s Austin Franklin, Arkansas’ Cobi Hamilton, Arizona’s Austin Hill, Clemson’s Deandre Hopkins, Southern California’s Marquise Lee and Louisiana Tech’s Quinton Patton.
The winner will be announced Dec. 6 on ESPN’s The Home Depot College Football Awards Show.
