Texas Tech quarterback Seth Doege
was one of several seniors playing their final home game Saturday when the Red Raiders hosted Kansas.
Doege, though, is sure to leave a substantial mark on the program's legacy as he continued moving up on some of the school's statistical lists during the Red Raiders' 41-34 double-overtime win against the Jayhawks.
Doege completed 45 of 59 passes, compiling 476 yards and three touchdowns. In the process, Doege moved past Billy Joe Toliver on the school's career pass attempts list to fifth place with 1,063. Doege is now third on the school's career passing touchdowns list
with 64, having moved past Taylor Potts.
Additionally, Doege became the first Red Raider to throw for a least 300 yards in five consecutive games since 2008, when Graham Harrell stringed together six games of 300-plus passing yards.
Doege's 45 completions Saturday is a career-high.
