Texas quarterback David Ash (ribs), receiver Marquise Goodwin (thumb) and defensive end Alex Okafor (ankle) are listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against Kansas State because of injuries sustained in last week’s 20-13 loss to TCU, team trainers announced Sunday. In addition, three players have been ruled out for the K-State game: offensive tackle Kennedy Estelle (shoulder), running back Jeremy Hills (leg) and linebacker Demarco Cobbs (knee). Hills and Cobbs sustained season-ending injuries against TCU.

The TCU games were brutal to both teams. Likely cost K-State the following Baylor game and shot at the BCS title. Makes you wonder whether teams outside the behemoths can only compete/succeed if they avoid injuries. You can't recruit a juco transfer mid-season.
