Texas offensive guard Trey Hopkins will miss the team’s Alamo Bowl game against Oregon State because of season-ending surgery to repair a stress fracture in his lower right leg, team officials announced today. Texas trainer Kenny Boyd said four Longhorns who were limited or injured in the team’s Dec. 1 loss to Kansas State are expected to be cleared for bowl practices and the Oregon State game: defensive end Alex Okafor (ankle), running back Joe Bergeron (shoulder), defensive tackle Ashton Dorsey (concussion) and kicker Anthony Fera (hip).
