Offensive linemen live on college football's weird side, and Oklahoma Sooners offensive tackle Lane Johnson is an ambassador from that side.
Johnson, who started his journey to JerryWorld and the Cotton Bowl as a junior college quarterback, has some fun on this video from soonersports.com via its YouTube channel after he and Sooners starting right tackle Tyrus Thompson were given a microphone.
After a strong senior season, Johnson's draft stock has risen to the point that National Football Post's Russ Lande came out Jan. 1 with a mock draft that has the former tight end and defensive end (OU moved him around a lot) going No. 20 to the Chicago Bears.
A matchup between Johnson and Texas A&M's rush defensive end Damontre Moore, a junior who has already declared for the NFL Draft and is a projected first-rounder, should be one of the more intriguing in Friday's Cotton Bowl at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
