Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel, an Arlington High School graduate and the 2012 Outland Trophy winner, has chosen to bypass his senior season and enter the 2013 NFL Draft, based on a report by TexAgs.com that cited sources with knowledge of the situation.
On his Twitter account, TexAgs reporter Billy Liucci wrote: “I’ve been able to confirm from multiple sources that A&M OT Luke Joeckel has made the decision to enter the 2013 NFL Draft.”
Joeckel, a junior and thee-year starter, has been projected as a first-round pick and possibly the top overall selection. A&M officials have yet to comment on the report.
