Texas has hired Patrick Suddes, former associate director of football operations at Alabama, to become the Longhorns’ director of player personnel, school officials announced today.
In the newly created role, Suddes will serve as the point person for the Longhorns’ recruiting efforts. Suddes, a 2005 Alabama graduate, has spent the last eight seasons working on staffs led by Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban, including Saban’s last two years with the NFL’s Miami Dolphins (2005, 2006).
