Louisville, the lone No. 1 seed remaining in the 2013 NCAA Tournament, has been installed as a prohibitive favorite to cut down the nets at the conclusion of this week’s Final Four in Atlanta.
The Cardinals were given 2/3 odds today to win the national championship by Bovada Sports Book (www.Bovada.lv), best of any remaining team in the field. Other championship odds given the Final Four teams included Michigan (3/1), Syracuse (17/4) and Wichita State (12/1).
Michigan, a No. 4 seed and Sunday’s winner of the South Regional at Cowboys Stadium, will meet fellow No. 4 seed Syracuse in one of Saturday’s semifinal games at the Georgia Dome. Louisville will meet Wichita State, a No. 9 seed, in the other semifinal contest.
