“This is going to be a struggle,” Snyder said, reflecting on Saturday’s 10 a.m. service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Colleyville. “I know how tight-knit the family is and what a great kid he was.”
Safety Toney Hurd Jr. said: “I have to give a lot of prayers out to his family. Polo was a great guy. A very humble individual.”
The A&M team will bus to the funeral from College Station on Saturday morning. The rest of Saturday’s football schedule is yet to be determined once the team returns to College Station.
In addition, Manukainiu will be remembered when Silver Taps is held Sept. 3 on the A&M campus.
