NCAA officials delivered Tuesday on their promise to bring headliner acts to the three-day March Madness Music Festival in conjunction with the 2014 Final Four at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will join Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and The Killers as the featured acts at the free music festival, April 4-6 at ReunionPark in Dallas.
In chronological order, country star Aldean will headline the AT&T Block Party on Friday, April 4. Performances will run from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with additional acts to be announced later.
The Saturday, April 5 show will feature McGraw and The Killers as part of a nine-hour performance (noon to 9 p.m.) at the Coke Zero Countdown. McGraw will headline the afternoon group of musical acts, followed by a live broadcast of the first semifinal game from AT&T Stadium. Immediately after the broadcast, the evening show begins, headlined by The Killers. Additional Saturday acts will be announced later.
Springsteen will close the three-day festival as the headliner act on Sunday, April 6 at the Capital One JamFest. Sunday performances run from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with additional acts to be announced later.
There is no admission to any of the three shows during the festival.
