As the NCAA Tournament kicks into high gear, college basketball fans will soon be tracking their favorite teams while listing to “A Shot as the Night” by The Killers. The rock bank’s song will be the featured musical backdrop for NCAA tournament games that are broadcast on CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV.
Produced by Turner Sports and featured across all network platforms that will carry game telecasts, the performance was filmed last month at The Skywalk outside of Grand CanyonNational Park. The idea, said organizers, was to ignite the passion and thrill of the NCAA Tournament.
Hence, the band rocks the canyon. Check out their 2014 tournament anthem on one of the links below. Or watch The Killers live in Dallas, as part of the March Madness Music Festival, April 4-6.
The three-day show features live music each day and there is no charge for admission to any performance in ReunionPark. The Killers are one of the headliners on April 5, with other performances by fun, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Springsteen and his band headline the final night, April 6.
