Baylor officials are planning a series of special activities during the 2013 football season, including player reunions and a throwback uniform game against Texas, to celebrate the team’s 64th and final season of playing in Floyd Casey Stadium.
The Bears, who began playing in Floyd Casey Stadium in 1950, are scheduled to move to the school’s new on-campus stadium (still under construction) next season.
Baylor officials have scheduled a commemorative activity in conjunction with six of the team’s seven home games this season. The lone exception is a Thursday night contest, Nov. 7 against Oklahoma. A selection committee will select an All-Floyd Casey Stadium team and fans will vote for players to honor from each decade.
