For those like me who grew up watching Bo Jackson, here's a clip of some of his college highlights from Auburn, along with stuff from the NFL (it is a little bright at first, but hang with it). To me, he remains one of the freakiest running backs I've ever watched, along with Barry Sanders of course. -Trae
The momentum definitely shifted when TCU turned a triple play in the top of the eighth inning on Sunday against UNLV. The Horned Frogs went on to win 3-2 in 10 innings. "The triple play was big,'' Horned Frogs coach Jim Schlossnagle said. "I was thinking in the ninth inning, 'How many times do you get a triple play and lose?' It doesn't happen very often. From (UNLV's) end it's hard to overcome." With runners on first and second, TCU reliever Trent Appleby started things off when he caught a bunt that was popped up by Braden Walker. "I was looking to get the play at third,'' Appleby explained. "I caught it and (catcher Bryan) Holaday had to yell too. I looked up and threw to second and figured I just got a double play, and looked up to see (shortstop Bryan) Kervin chasing the guy. It was pretty good. It helped me out a lot." -Trae Thompson
This is from a Notre Dame baseball game last Saturday. Irish senior Wade Korpi was hit in the head by a line drive, and actually left the game on his own, according to CSTV. One report from BlueandGold.com says Korpi is expected to be just fine. WARNING - This video is extremely graphic in nature due to the sound made when Korpi is hit. -Trae
