Quick take: I think the most valuable people on this team right now are the trainers and team doctor. The Badgers have tons of injury concerns, and can't afford to lose anyone. On top of that, they'll be counting on a new starting quarterback. But with the running game Wisconsin relies on, you just need a bus driver, to borrow Bill Parcells' term. This program is a consistent winner. Wisconsin's going to be just fine.
My player to watch: TE Travis Beckum (6-4, 235). The nation's top tight end is looking at a bright future in the NFL. Beckum, who originally played defense, had 61 catches for 903 yards in 2006 - school records for a tight end - then followed that up by ranking second nationally among tight ends in catches (75) and first in receiving yards (982).
