Rookie kicker Nick Folk is a confident guy. He knows he's kicking well, rolling it over from his senior year at Arizona, and now he appears to have a chance to win the job.
Veteran Martin Gramatica suffered a slight pulled hamstring on his kickoff against the Texans. He survived Monday's cuts. But missing an extra point surely didn't help his case.
Gramatica said the hamstring wasn't anything serious and didn't feel terrible after the game.
Now, Folk wants to show how he can kick the intermediate stuff and handle field goals for an entire game. Stay tuned. So how do Cowboys fans feel about possibly having a rookie kicker this season?

As opposed to a 30-something who has been repeatedly cut by other teams and was a street free agent in the middle of last season?
