Cowboys coach Wade Phillips welcomed himself to the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a funny, but uncomfortable, joke during his speech at the kickoff luncheon Wednesday at the Hotel Intercontinental in Addison.
When he was introduced, he did not receive a standing ovation.
"You don't have to give me a standing ovation," Phillips said. "But it's a good time to adjust your underwear if you need to. That's usually when I stand up for everybody."
