The name Jacob Rogers usually makes me Cowboy fans feel sick. But he's back at Valley Ranch. Or he was supposed to be.
Rogers was drafted by the Cowboys with their second round pick in 2004. The offensive tackle never did a thing with the Cowboys, and was eventually cut before the start of the '05 season. He's with the Broncos now. Kind of.
With the Broncos at Valley Ranch on Wednesday for two days of scrimmages, Rogers was supposed to be here. But he's nursing a bum right knee, and didn't make the trip.
People who follow the Broncos don't think he's going to make the team.
