Brian Westbrook is smart

Instead of scoring on a surefire touchdown run, Eagles running back Brian Westbrook took a knee at the 1-yard line to run the clock down to the two-minute warning. Why was that a good idea?

Well, the Cowboys couldn't stop the clock and the Eagles didn't have to score, enabling them to run the clock down without giving the Cowboys the ball.

On the ensuing three downs, Donovan McNabb took a knee, ending the game.
