Mike Ditka doesn't think the Redskins honored the memory of Sean Taylor by starting the game Sunday against the Bills on defense with 10 players. "I think you honor Sean Taylor by playing the way he played, knocking the hell out of somebody," Ditka said Monday on ESPN News. He said the reason the Bills gained 22 yards on the play wasn't because of the missing man but because "they didn't force that side."
Ditka has great empathy for what the Redskins are going through. In 1964, Bears star Willie Gallimore and another player died in a car crash while driving to training camp. "We were never the same team that year," Ditka said. "We couldn't think straight."
