Romo at practice; Williams absent

Quarterback Tony Romo, who is nursing a bruised right thumb, was at practice Wednesday throwing passes.

Safety Roy Williams, who is appealing a one-game suspension without pay for his third horse-collar tackle of the season, was not at practice.

There has been no official word from the NFL on Williams, but his absence is not a good sign.
