Today marks the return of Cowboys safety Roy Williams after his one-week suspension for his horse-collar tackle of Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb two weeks ago.
On the Redskins' first touchdown drive of the afternoon, Roy was in preseason form.
He missed one tackle that led to and 11-yard gain. He allowed Redskins tight-end Chris Cooley to spring open for a 16-yard catch on another play, and he was unable to bring down Clinton Portis on his 23-yard touchdown run.
The good news: No horse-collar tackles, and no fines. Baby steps, people, baby steps.
