Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman on Wednesday attempted to downplay his comments on Sirius Radio this week about Lions quarterback Jon Kitna. He also tried to imply they were overblown.
But there's nothing soft about his pointed remarks he made saying he was coming after Kitna and didn't matter what a possible fine would cost. He also said revenge would be sweet.
Kitna blasted the Cowboys defense on a Seattle radio show after the Lions 39-31 victory in the regular season finale. Kitna jab at Newman was saying he was no Marcus Trufant, a cornerback with the Seahawks.
