A Cowboys loss means ...

Apart from the obvious postseason elimination:

* The Cowboys finish the 2007 season 13-4, one of the best records in franchise history. The only other Cowboys team to win 13 games in the regular season was the 1992 team. That team won the Super Bowl.
* The Cowboys are still looking for their first playoff win since 1996.
* Wade Phillips is still looking for his first postseason victory as a head coach.

Jerry Jones needs to take a hard look at his team since he purchased them in 1989. Since the leaving of Jimmy Johnson in 1994 the team has gone down hill ever since! (Barry rode on the coat tails of Jimmy's team in Super Bowl XXX). Since then it has been horrible. Jerry, get rid of this coach and find out what it would take to get Jimmy Johnson back. Washington Redskins could do it, why can't you?

ROMO + DIRK = both puts up great #s and wins in the reg season but can never win the BIG GAME!!!!!!!

A loss like this is always a shock once it has really happened. But was it a surprise? I don't think so. The collapse began all those weeks ago, after Green Bay, and only widened and deepened as the season drew to an end. Last night was like watching a beautiful living thing finally succumb to successive organ failure. How could the Cowboys be favored, after what they had shown the world in the last few games? I don't understand. Talent is not enough. I am grateful to T.O. for showing, in his postgame comments, what I, as a weak female fan, wanted from my heroes: honor, pride, sorrow, tears. Now all surviving teams proceed, directly or indirectly, to the grim reaper that is New England. Theirs is the season.

PAT, LET ME TELL YA, ITS A HARD LESSION TO LEARN. MY GRAND MA USED TO SAY, "HE THAT KEEPS HIS MOUTH, KEEPS HIS SOUL." IF YOU'RE GONNA TALK THE TALK, YOU SURE BETTER WALK THE WALK. BECAUSE, LIKE YOU'RE SEEING IN THESE BLOGGS AND LIKE YOU'RE GONNA SEE IN EVERY SPORTS PUBLICATION IN AMERICA, YOU ARE GONNA TAKE ALOT OF HEAT FOR THE THINGS THAT YOU SAID AND THE THINGS THAT YOU DIDN'T DO. BUT YOU AREN'T THE ONLY ONE THAT SHOULD BE TAKING A LOOK IN THE MIRROR. ROY WILLAMS, JOCK REEVES, THE OFFENSIVE LINE( I.E. LENARD DAVIS) AND JASON GARRETT WHO BECAME SO PREDICTABLE IN THE SECOND HALF. GOOD LUCK NEXT SEASON!

This loss means that we need serious help in the offseason. I don't know that Wade Philip's calming affect on the Cowboys this years is what they need going into next year. Let's retire Wade, promote Jason, and go back to 4-3 Defense. It's was very successful for all the Cowboys Super Bowl Teams. 3-4 has only brought disappointment and never a First Place Defense. Let's go back to the Landry and Jimmy days.

A Cowboys loss means...this season was a failure...

- How does TO not even get a ball thrown his way during that last drive?

- Why all those passes to the end zone, when you had time to get the first down?

-

ROMO NEEDS TO DITCH THE "BAD lUCK" CHARM BEFOR THE NEXT SEASON! HE PLAYED LIKE CRAP TODAY. ANOTHER DISAPPOINTING ENDING FROM A TALENTED QB.
