Bowles headed for Miami?

Cowboys secondary coach Todd Bowles remains under contract with the team until next Tuesday and was at Valley Ranch on Thursday. Bowles is talking with the Cowboys and hopes to make a decision by Sunday on his plans.

All indications point to him joining new Miami coach Tony Sparano as the Dolphins assistant head coach. Bowles can't sign with the Dolphins until Tuesday. Dallas would likely fill Bowles' job on the staff rather than giving the duties to defensive coordinator Brian Stewart, a former secondary coach in San Diego.

Cowboys linebackers coach Paul Pasqualoni is also being linked to Miami as its new defensive coordinator along with defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers.
