Choice is the Cowboys choice

Wade Phillips has finally put his foot down in the draft war room (not really). He told Jerry Jones yesterday at some point you have to start making picks. Well, the Cowboys made their first pick Sunday taking RB Tashard Choice of Georgia Tech with the No. 122 in the fourth round. I already see Phillips making a bad joke about the GT running back's last name in the press conference.

The Cowboys had made four trades before drafting a player.

Cowboys see nothing

The Cowboys have traded four times moving out of drafting and is showing they obviously see nothing they can't live without. They already have young receivers to develop, like their young QB, have two CBs on the way (Pacman and Mike Jenkins) and took a TE. What do they want? Another young offensive lineman to develop. Jerry might turn this into building up future drafts....They already have another third round pick next year.

Cowboys get 3rd rounder next year

The Cowboys traded pick No. 111 in the 4th round to the Cleveland Browns for a third-round pick next year. Jerry Jones is now building up next year's draft. Cowboys next pick (not really) is No. 122 (from Cleveland). That was the Cowboys fourth trade -- OF THE DAY.

The Cowboys traded again out of pick No. 111 in the 4th round to the Cleveland Browns. It's the Cowboys fourth trade of the day. Unbelievable.

John David Booty out there

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says undrafted QB Richard Bartel of Grapevine is progressing nicely...but USC quarterback John David Booty is out there available. Do the Cowboys go after a quarterback here in the fourth round?

Cowboys trade for third time

The Cowboys traded pick No. 104 to the Cleveland Browns and picked up the Browns pick at No. 122 (4th round) and No. 155 (5th round)....ok, let's reset this madness.

Cowboys to pick No. 104

The Cowboys traded their pick No. 100 to the Oakland Raiders for their pick at No. 104 in the fourth round. Dallas also picked up the Raiders' pick No. 213 in the sixth round. Like Wade Phillips told Jerry Jones yesterday, at some point you have to actually make some picks.

The Cowboys have traded again. Shocking. Dallas traded pick No. 100 to start the fourth round with Al Davis and the Oakland Raiders. That's two trades so far and no players drafted yet.

The Cowboys traded their 92nd pick of the third round to the Detroit Lions. In return the Cowboys get Detroit's pick No. 111 in the fourth round and a fourth round pick in 2009.
