Middle Tennesee State defensive end Erik Walden (6-foot-2, 246 pounds) will be converted to linebacker with the Cowboys. It will be the same kind of transition that DeMarcus Ware (who played in the same conference at Troy) had moving to linebacker coming out of the Sun Belt.
