9-on-7 highlights and observations

Before we talk highlights/observations of the just wrapped up 9-on-7 drill, CB Terence Newman is working with trainers on the field. They want to slowly start him back from the slightly torn groin.

* Linebacker Kevin Burnett is making plays in this camp working on the inside. He is a smart player who can react as fast as he reads things.

* RB Felix Jones continues to hit the hole with a burst. He did so on one inside run shooting through and it drew a few claps from Arkansas alum Jerry Jones.

Cowboys_camp_722 * NT Tank Johnson is one competitive dude. If he doesn't make a play he is not happy and is continually shouting.

* LB Bobby Carpenter getting some props from the coaches for reading plays well.

* RBs Marion Barber and Felix Jones in the backfield at the same time. Barber goes in motion, Felix lines up wide, Barber moves into the backfield and takes the hand-off.

* LB Justin Rogers playing on the outside.
