Closer look at Brooks Bollinger

Brooks Who is Brooks Bollinger? You might be seeing this guy Sunday at Giants Stadium if stater Brad Johnson has trouble moving the offense and the Cowboys are behind. And if Johnson turns it over like the did against St. Louis the Cowboys could easily make the switch.

Before you get too excited about seeing No. 5, who looks like a college kid, remember he was released by MINNESOTA. Yes, the QB-starved Vikings cut him loose. He is in his sixth year out of Wisconsin and was a sixth-round draft pick by the NY Jets.

B.B. does have some starting experience, including nine starts with the Jets in 2005 in which he went 2-7 and was sacked 28 times.

Bollinger, who is 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, was traded to Minnesota in 2006 and started one game for the Vikings last season. He was 16-of-26 with 176 yards and an interception in a 34-0 loss to Green Bay.

For his career, he has eight TDs and eight interceptons. Could he come in and save the day for a memorable day in Cowboys history against the Super Bowl champs? Another Jason Garrett story? Right.
