Cowboys cut two players

The Cowboys have released WR Mike Jefferson and safety Daren Stone. Jefferson, a former practice squad player, was on the reserve/suspended list for violating the league's substance abuse policy and served a four-game suspension. Stone was signed last week and was inactive for the Bucs game. It leaves one open roster spot.

I never knew we had a guy name Stone. Why not cut Barbie Carpenter for a real football player.

I am hearing rumors that the Boys are looking to sign Culpepper as the backup. Could this be a move to create room for him?
