Witten misses practice

Tight end Jason Witten, who suffered a broken rib against Tampa Bay Sunday, did not practice Wednesday and his status for Sunday’s game at the New York Giants remains questionable.
Witten had to leave during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay because of the injury. He returned in the second half briefly, before going to the sideline for the rest of the game.
Witten leads the team in receptions with 46 for 549 yards and two touchdowns. If he can’t play, rookie Martellus Bennett will replace him in the lineup.
