Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo expects to completely abandon the pinkie splint next week against the Steelers.
Romo finished 22-34 for 331 yards and three touchdowns against the Seahawks on Thursday. And the extra days off because they travel to face this Pittsburgh Steelers shouldn't hurt the quarterback, who is rounding back into form, at all.
"I would be very surprised if I wore the splint against Pittsburgh," Romo said.
Wide receiver Terrell Owens also mentioned that Romo has been lobbying with team officials to play without the splint.
