Jason Witten said he's OK despite the fact he was nearly cut in half on a hit during Sunday's game when Tony Romo left him hung out to dry. Witten said the hit didn't cause any problems with the rib he broke earlier in the season.
But he did say, "I mean, none of us are satisified. I've got four catches in four games, but that's the way it goes."
One of the members of the evil media then asked Witten if he should schedule a one-on-one interview with T.O. BFF Deion Sanders so he can get more passes thrown his way.
"Nah, I don't think I could do that," Witten said. "That's not a bad idea though, right?"
Witten was kidding when he said that.
"I haven't really said much. Not really my style," he said. "Seemed to work, though, I guess. Terrell got the last laugh on that. I think it came at a good time. I know it's been a long year for him, being the competitor that he is and really wanting to help this team more than anything. I think at times it's tough to see him that that, I think it's a little bit of ability for him to relax a little bit to have a game like that. Obviously that was a big game for him."
Read through the lines and you can see what Witten is hinting at.
So what do you think he's hinting at?
