News of the day: Jerry Jones is not talking. Not about the big things that matter right now about his team.

Where's Jerry?: Couldn't find him today at Ladd-Peebles Stadium at the North practice. That's because he was sitting out in his rental car. Probably trying to get warm. So we hunted him down at his hotel in downtown.
Big Bill sighting: Saw Bill Parcells in the hotel lobby waiting on Miami GM Jeff Ireland to pick him up for practice. Jeff was glad to see the old Dallas media guys.
Cowboys injury update: RB Felix Jones is in a walking boot and healing well and RB Marion Barber did not need surgery for his dislocated pinkie toe.
Senior with something to prove: Sam Houston State QB Rhett Bomar. Played with inferior talent and now has some of the best seniors in the country around him. His skills should shine. Will he look better than teammate Graham Harrell?
Little Cosby: Texas wide receiver Quan Cosby sure looks small alongside the receivers on the South team. He looks made for the slot.
