Haley, Pioli tick off one of Chiefs' stalwarts

Pro Bowl guard Brian Waters, who played collegiately at North Texas, was so offended after a meeting this week with new Kansas City Chiefs coach Todd Haley and by the refusal of new general manager Scott Pioli to meet with him that he has asked for his release, a source with knowledge of the situation has told the Kansas City Star.

Wow, that didn't take long for two disciples of Bill Parcells to shake things up in KC.
