Cowboys now have 11 picks

The Cowboys were awarded two compensatory draft picks by the NFL on Monday, giving them a total of 11 picks in the 2009 NFL draft.

The got a fifth and sixth round pick to make up for the losses for running back Julius Jones and cornerback Jacques Reeves in free agency last year.

The Cowboys do not have a first round pick. But they have one pick in the second round, one in the third, two in the fourth, three in the fifth, two in the sixth and two in the seventh round.
