Let's examine the Cowboys' defensive reshuffle....There will be 4 new starters on defense at this point.
(Defensive line)
DE, Marcus Spears
NT, Jay Ratliff
DE, Igor Olshansky (replaces Chris Canty)
(Linebackers)
OLB, DeMarcus Ware
OLB, Greg Ellis/Anthony Spencer
ILB, Bradie James
ILB, Keith Brooking (replaces Zach Thomas)
CB, Terence Newman
CB, Mike Jenkins (replaces Anthony Henry)
FS, Orlando Scandrick??
SS, Ken Hamlin
* Scandrick (5-foot-10, 192 pounds) could be sliding from CB to FS after an impressive rookie season. He's a fearless player with solid coverage skills and extreme confidence but will need more strength and bulk in that role on the base defense.

This D looks as tough as a pencil in a hurricane......

This looks thus like a team ready to COLLAPSE. Firstly there is NO DEPTH WHATSOEVER IN THE SECONDARY. Why was Henry traded away for a slow coach QB who could have been obtained without any compensation?? Moving young Scandrick to safety will be a DISASTER!!! Scandrick is a speedy cover corner and a potential star player in that position. Why disrupt that?? Barry Jenkins IS NOT READY TO BE A STARTING CB. Jenkins is erratic and unreliable. Newman is always injured and cannot be counted on for a full season. The defensive line is dodgy and full of holes. Where is the rotational depth to give Ratliff a breather?? There is none. Spears and Hamlin should both have been cut immediately after the season. They are two gutless players and no team will win with these pea hearts. Get ready for a 4-12 or 5-11 season its coming soon thanks to Genius Jerry and Dopey coach Smowflake!!!!
