The NFL Draft is less than a week away and it's kind of boring in Dallas with no first round pick. But of course Jerry Jones is not going to sit back and let everybody else have all the fun.
The trade winds will be blowing in Dallas. My pick for the Cowboys in the second round is WR Brian Robiskie or FS Louis Delmas.
Who do you have the Cowboys picking?
Clarence E. Hill Jr.

the cowboys need more speed and not put all their eggs in austin staying healthy at the receiver position. i think it time the cowboys draft some quality offensive linemen. it's a shame each season romo has to perform his houdini act to escape from being sacked because of a poorus offensive line.

Delmas will be long gone by the time Dallas selects in the second round and probably Robiskie too..
And NO ken warren, we don't want another slash/hybrid type player that's a college player only in Pat White, we've selected enough of those failures over the years. Pat white is a wasted pick

I hope they pick Patrick White from West Virginia. He's a gifted football player and a proven winner. He could play QB and/or WR. And of course, he'd be venom in the wildcat. You can pick a slow WR (like Robiskie) or decent safety in a lower round. Go with the skilled guy in White!

I know talent is talent regardless of school (see Ware) but a safety from W Mich with our first pick sounds like a bad idea. I like McBath more than any other safety in the draft. I guess we aren't looking at Ellison, Moore and Nic (the pig) Harris at SS because they are sooo like ROY!!!!!

Love Herman Johnson

Robiskie is Crayton.

Cowboys will be trading up to the early second round to aquire Sean Smith hybrid CB/FS from Utah, 6'3" 4.47 forty time

Herman Johnson is a second day pick...massive, flabby, and unathletic ranked 160th best prospect overall by scouts inc. bottom of round 5
The only people that have Robiske going in the second round are the cowboy beat writers...he is ranked 75th overall which is upper-mid 3rd round...
Trading up for Hey-Bey is an interesting idea...typically it takes recievers a year before they are ready and he's kinda raw...51 is prob where he "should go" for those reasons...but he is so fast and athletic...he makes plays...teams would have to respect his serious speed so he could at least create space for others...some guys can just run fast 40's but he plays fast...
Percy may be too much like Felix (a tweener fast awesome rb/slot player) plus some character flags to consider trading up for if he slips...
Seems only fair we should have territorial rights to Crabtree...crap

I think that they should package two picks starting with the Lions pick from the fourth round and something else (whatever it takes to get it done) and trade with Detroit for the 1st pick in the second round. Detroit has two first round picks (ours and theirs) so they will be paying a lot of 1st round money out and the 1st pick in the 2nd round might as welll be 1st round money as well so they should be willing to deal. This will allow the Cowboys to get a good wide receiver and DB (corner or safety) in the second round. I like Darius Heywood Bey (4.3 in the 40) at WR and Delmas or Chung at DB.

We're going to have to trade up to get either of these two, but I'd feel very disappointed if we didn't end up with one or the other after day one. Both will be impact players that will help our team greatly.

I think we should rebuild our offensive line for the future. Phil Loadholt and Herman Johnson would be nice fit for offensve tackle and guard positons.

Robiske would be a huge reach in the second round...a high price to pay for a possession receiver that cant get separation.

I would be happy with either but I think they will need to move up to get one of them. The other WR prospects are slipping making Robiskie more attractive and someone before 51 is going to want Delmas. My prediction is that both are gone at 51 and Jerry moves down even further.

Louis delmas is a good pick. But I think the best option would be either patrick cheung or alphonso smith. Both provide the ability to start and contribute on special teams. I also like the idea of derrick williams or mike thomas in the second round
