Jerry Jones closes door on Pacman Jones

Who says you can't fight city hall?

On Monday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones issued a statement through team pr director Rich Dalrymple that he has no plans of bringing Adam Jones back.

This was just hours after news broke that Jones told me late Saturday night that he was thinking about doing just that.

Negative public reaction was swift and intense from emails to blog posts. No one was happy with this possibility.

Jerry Jones is a smart man. He sent up a trial balloon and is now reacting to the response. He never said he was bringing Pacman back. He and Jones' agent Worrick Robinson said they have had no discussions about it.

But Jones admitted he was considering it.

Now that he has, with the help of a lot of angry fans, Jones has decided against it.

LOL, you really think Jones cares about fan reaction to personnel moves? I don't think so.

I think if he thought the player could help the team win, he'd sign him. I don't think Adam Jones could help the team win. Neither apparently does Jerry.
