First play from scrimmage

At 9:48 a.m. CST, the Cowboys lined up for their first drills with contact. The first-team offense lined up with Marion Barber in the backfield. He got the handoff, battled through some defenders (who, by the way are not tackling), but then fumbled...uh oh...on the next snap, Felix Jones was in the backfield.

Two plays later, Alonzo Coleman busted up the gut for a TD...Who you ask? Coleman, a 5-foot-9 back out of Hampton, is virtually auditioning for other teams while wearing a Cowboys helmet. The running back position is set with Marion Barber, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice.

That's the easy part. The hard part is figuring out how to use them. That's where Jason Garrett will earn his 3-million-bucks.
