49ers punter won't try for big board

The 49ers play here Saturday, and their punter, Andy Lee, told the San Jose Mercury News that he won't try to hit the HD board at Cowboys Stadium. Jerry Jones should be happy to hear that. The Cowboys have accused Titans rookie punter A.J. Trapasso of trying to hit the board last week when he nailed it with a third-quarter punt. The board is 90 feet above the playing field, as you probably have heard by now.

"It's something you can't worry about," Lee told the newspaper. "You have to go out there and not change anything. Otherwise you might start messing things up. I'm trying to get ready for the regular season."

Lee said he has hit the low roof at the University of Pittsburgh's indoor facility.
