Jerome Carter, a fourth-year safety out of Florida State who signed with the Cowboys as a free agent, is no longer with the team. The Cowboys waived him this morning. That takes the roster down to 79, so the Cowboys are likely looking around for another defensive back to add a practice body. They're a tad shorthanded because Michael Hawkins, a fourth-year guy out of Oklahoma remains banged up.
