Scandrick lights up R. Williams

Cornerback Orlando Scandrick, who is competing with Michael Jenkins for the starting job opposite Terence Newman,  and Scandrick's defensive teammates gave him high-fives.

The big hit was kind of surprising since these practice drills are mostly non-contact other than some bumping.

"We hit," Scandrick clarified after the morning practice. "We don't tackle."

Williams laughed it off and said he has a surprise for the afternoon practice.

"I'll get him back," Williams said. "I'll score a touchdown on him."
