The Cowboys have already promoted receiver Miles Austin to the starting lineup over Patrick Crayton after his breakout game against the Chiefs before the bye.
Now running back Tashard Choice will be rewarded with more playing time after rushing eight times for 92 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs two weeks ago. A still gimpy Marion Barber will start at running back against the Falcons on Sunday but owner Jerry Jones said Choice will carry a bigger load.
Choice is the healthiest and most explosive runner on the team right now, considering that Felix Jones is still uncertain after missing the last two games with a sprained knee.
"I can tell you Barber is going to be in better shape than he was last week or two weeks ago," Jones said on his weekly radio show. "But Tashard certainly earned and is going to get a big part of the load."
