Alan Ball will start for the injured Ken Hamlin at free safety. It will be Ball's first career start.
"It’s a position we’ve worked him on all along," Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Wednesday. "He’s obviously very versatile. He came in and played corner and made a nice play a couple of games ago. He’s ready to go in, and he did go in the last game and play at safety."
Rookie safety Mike Hamlin, who began the season rehabbing a broken wrist, will be activated Sunday for the first time.
