Shaun Suisham kicked his first field goal as a Cowboy. It came in the same spot -- same hashmark, same end of the field -- as the kick that got him cut. He made the 23-yarder this time. He missed it against the Saints, and New Orleans went on to beat the Redskins in overtime.
"That's just how it goes sometimes," Suisham said.
Suisham was booed by the FedEx Field crowd. He cost the Redskins in losses to the Cowboys and the Saints.
"Boos for an extra point, that is different," Suisham said. "Maybe they were saying my name."
Suisham had made 73.1 percent of his kicks at FedEx Field before Sunday.
